Sunshine Rest Home was started in Pontotoc County around 1869. Pontotoc County built a new building in 1954. Then in August 1992 the current building was constructed and operated by Mr. and Mrs. James Westmoreland until Mr. Westmoreland’s death in 2004. In July 2005, Mr. Eric Holland purchased the facility and along with numerous upgrades and renovations, changed the name to Sunshine Health Care Inc. Sunshine Health Care Inc. is seated in beautiful, rural Pontotoc County, Mississippi. With years of experience and dedicated service to our senior residents, Sunshine Health Care staff provides an enriching environment worthy to call “home”.
